GE, Square D, and FPE Circuit Breakers
December 18, 2011 by publisher · Leave a Comment
There are a number of circuit breaker brands available, including Westinghouse and Siemens. Federal Pacific, or FPE circuit breakers, is another popular brand. Online suppliers often carry a range of new and used FPE circuit breakers. The retails price for these is usually between 700 and 3,000 dollars. The FPE circuit breakers usually have 3 poles and weigh an average of 2.5 pounds. All FPE products must pass a meticulous inspection and are subject to a 1-year warranty. On average, they can generate up to 600 volts.
GE is another popular brand of circuit breaker. GE breakers are usually much more affordable than FPE breakers, with prices beginning around $150. Their packaged weight is usually much heavier, sometimes up to 20 pounds. They contain 2 poles and can generate up to 600 volts.
Square D breakers offer quality and reliability for a slightly higher average price. The Square D MA36800, for example, retails at just over $1,500 dollars, has 3 poles, produces up to 600 volts, and operates at 800 amps. Like most brands of circuit breakers, Square D breakers run the gamut in terms of price; the more expensive ones tend to produce more voltage. Also, like GE and FPE, the more expensive breakers tend to weigh more; in the case of the MA36800, the packaged weight is a considerable 36 pounds, whereas some of the company’s lower-end merchandise might weight a quarter of that. Of course, it ultimately depends on your breaker needs, though no matter what they are, you’re likely to find what you need through one of these three brands

Professional Video Production Recommendations
December 15, 2011 by publisher · Leave a Comment
I wouldn’t exactly say that most people’s home videos look anything like a professional video production. There are some real artists among the home movie makers out there, but most efforts seem like deliberate attempts to thwart the failsafe features built into expensive video cameras. Headache inducing shaky camera work stamped with random dates, focus continually fading in an out, and videos abruptly ending because of battery failure are all common. Few armatures take the time to familiarize themselves with all the great features their cameras have.
This is truly a shame because the disasters they make of their home videos could easily be avoided if they understood how to use their tools. The alternative is to pay for video production services dallas or any other major city will have people willing to do the job for you , and record your wedding, your child’s birthday, or graduation for posterity. But with a little investment of effort anyone can learn to make watchable home videos, and they will be glad they learned this skill.
For more involved digital video productions , like those needed for work related reasons, it’s probably best to seek out professional help in your movie making. You may want to be the star of your own TV commercial, and that’s all well and good. Car dealers in particular seem to love being in front of the camera. But being the director of your own commercial is much less advisable. Save yourself some trouble; get a professional.

Japan Embraces Wi-Fi Vending Machines
November 18, 2011 by admin · Leave a Comment

Japan is known for having unique and tech-forward vending machines, from machines that sell live crabs to advanced units with facial recognition technology and a full HD display. To continue with the innovation, a Tokyo-based beverage company just unveiled its latest vending machine: one that offers soft drinks along with a side of Wi-Fi signals within a 50m radius.
TechCrunch.com reports that Asahi Soft Drinks has developed a unique vending machine that offers free Wi-Fi accessibility, with multiple devices, to anyone who walks by. This means that users don’t have to purchase a soft drink to go online. The vending machine allows users to access the web for nearly 30 minutes. After the machine disconnects the Wi-Fi, users can re-connect once again after logging in.
Asahi plans to install 1,000 of these vending machines throughout Japan, including Tokyo, Chubu, Sendai, Kinki, and Fukuoka, in the first year. The company will then set up nearly 10,000 more in the next five years.

The much-anticipated Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this January has got tech geeks foaming at the mouth for many good reasons, some of which include giant TVs. The Los Angeles Times reported that LG Display has announced it will be unveiling the world’s largest Organic-LED TV, and the world’s largest 3D LED TV at CES.
Just how big are these TVs? The Organic LED TV boasts a screen size of 55 inches, while the 3D LED TV boasts a whopping 72 inches.
The Los Angeles Times points out that although these TVs may or may not be budget-friendly, they will garner attention, especially from LG’s competitor, Samsung. The company told the Times of India that they have always aimed to “actively define and lead emerging display technology markets.” Up until now, OLED technology has been limited to smaller sizes. However, LG Display has manufactured a TV that breaks these obstacles.
The Consumer Electronics Show will be held in Las Vegas January 10-13.
Beat The High Cost Of Entertainment With A Customized Home Theater

Maybe you’ve taken your family out to the movies in recent times to see a feature film playing at a first-run house and gotten a case of sticker shock. Among the out-of-pocket expenses you’re footing the bill for may be parking, tickets to the theater and refreshments, which often cost more than the tickets. Maybe you had a light meal before the movie, or plan to have a snack afterwards. When the night’s tally for entertainment finally comes together you’re liable to find that you’ve spent a pretty substantial chunk of change.
It’s likely to be at the exact moment when you figure out the night’s final bill that you begin wondering about alternatives to the quite expensive night out at the movies. Sure, it’s great to have activities that the whole family can enjoy together. And since everyone loves the movies, it’s hard to give up this pricey family ritual.
But why not think a bit about home entertainment? If you could find a way to bring that big-screen entertainment into your home instead of paying for tickets to see it you’d save a bundle.
That’s why investing in a home theater might be just the right move for you and your family. You could stay at home, make your own popcorn, pour your own soda and enjoy films at home in the comfort of your private viewing space.
If that sounds like a lavish investment, you should look at how much you spend in a year for babysitters, parking, movie tickets, refreshments and other incidental expenses that come up when you go out to the movies. You just might find that a home theater would pay for itself in just a couple of years. And just think, you’ll get years and years of enjoyment out of your own private movie theater.
Choose a room in the house you’d like to devote to entertaining, and picture it with rows of home theater seats, a wide-screen video monitor, a terrific sound system and lights on dimmers that will give you the full movie theater experience. You could even set up a velvet rope at the entranceway to give the space a more exclusive ambience.
You can get as extravagant as you’d like with your choice of home theater chairs, which can range from the most basic to cushy, plush crushed velvet jobs with their own refreshment trays built in and full reclining and foot rest capability. How could you not be totally comfortable in a theater like that?
And best of all, it’s right in your own home. No need to drive anywhere and park. No need for babysitters. You can even install your own popcorn and drink machines if you’re so inclined.
Next time when the family wants to see a movie together, don’t think about going out — start planning for those family nights you’ll spend at the good old family homestead. You’ll enjoy it a lot!

So if you are really ready for college application, the first thing that you need to do is go to visit some schools and decide which ones that you would prefer. Once you make your decision, then it’s time to begin the application process.
The Perks of Using a Spy Camera
October 14, 2011 by publisher · Leave a Comment
Have you ever had a roommate that claims he or she didn’t take your stuff and forget to return it? Or an annoying sister that swears she didn’t borrow your sweater, even though you are sure that she did? Incidents like this are very common when you live with other people, but unfortunately there isn’t always a way to resolve this type of a dispute between two people. However, with the use of hidden cameras, you may be able to prove that your hunch is, in fact, more than just a hunch.
A spy camera is a small camera that can be hidden in any number of places and used to record a scene in a room or other place. You can then view the footage. The way the footage is viewed depends on the type of camera. Some cameras record the footage to internal film that can then be replayed at a later time, while other camera stream, or transmit, the footage to a computer or other device in another camera. People using this type of camera can view the action in real time.
Some spy cameras are tiny and can be placed in very small items and still remain disguised. They may be hidden in a man’s tie or in a pair of glasses being worn by someone. Other camera are a bit larger but can still be hidden inside of lamps, children’s stuffed animals, or potted plants in order to spy on a person or persons inside the room.
The Importance of Accurate Pressure Instrumentation

If you have ever had an interest in becoming being an engineer involved with drilling for oil, then you should be aware of some of the technology that is present in many of the machinery used for this purpose. As an engineer, it is important that you understand how certain machines and sensors operate at a low level. Some examples of a rugged sensor system are downhole pressure transducers. The purpose of these sensors is to monitor the oil pressure as the hole is being drilled, which helps ensure that the process goes smoothly.
It is crucial to have accurate pressure instrumentation when drilling for oil. This is necessary because the pipe must be maintained at a constant pressure in order for the oil to flow at a predictable rate. The business in charge of selling the oil expects a constant production rate. It is crucial to maintain this rate in order to compete from a business point of view. Another example of a key sensor is the temperature sensor.
Because the drill may be operated at depth, a means of getting data to the surface is needed. A temperature transmitter may be used to monitor oil temperature at extreme depth. It works by taking the value that the temperature sensor reads, and sending it to the surface by radio signal. Temperature is important as another process control variable. Keeping this constant helps ensure a consistent flow rate from the well. These are just some of the topics that are important for an engineer interested in oil drilling must have an understanding of.
